About Me

I am a professional drummer, session musician, remix artist, songwriter, and music producer from the western suburbs of Chicago. Although I technically began drumming at age 5, my parents would most certainly tell you that my love for banging on things in rhythm began before that. I played my first professional gig before I was old enough to drive myself to the show, and I haven’t stopped playing them since.

In addition to being the founder of the post-industrial/rock/punk supergroup The Joy Thieves, I am an active member of the dream-pop/alternative rock band The Burying Kind, one half of the audio production team known as Joy Thieves Productions, and the drummer for Chicago-area dance band, Libido Funk Circus.

Over the years, I have worked on audio projects for hundreds of artists; including musicians from bands like Ministry, David Bowie, Killing Joke, PIG, Depeche Mode, Naked Raygun, Front 242, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, Nine Inch Nails, Stabbing Westward, Nitzer Ebb, KMFDM, Cocteau Twins, and more.

Visit my personal website for more information about my musical projects, or my remix and production work.

About DrumDaddy

After spending my entire adult life as a drummer, the pandemic of 2020 left me unable to perform shows, or record in the studio. And so the question quickly became, "How do I keep doing what I love?"

SO, I spent every last minute of that time honing my production skills, and perfecting the art of doing remote drum sessions using custom drum programming…and DrumDaddy was born.
